Brambleside Community Primary School is situated in a rapidly growing residential area of Kettering, a developing town in the north east of Northamptonshire.

The school opened in 1996 and is now thriving and oversubscribed. We have very good relationships with the local community and our Friends of Brambleside Group helps to foster these relationships along with raising much needed funds for the school.

Our recent successes include the National Healthy Schools Award, Investor in People Status and Northamptonshire Active Young Citizen Gold Award. In 2008 we were awarded a second prestigious Gold Artsmark and in 2009 a third ECO Schools Green Flag.

I have been Headteacher since we opened in September 1996 and have seen the school grow from just 90 pupils to over 300.

All who work at Brambleside endeavour to promote a happy and caring environment where all children are valued and success at any level is celebrated. Together the staff have worked extremely hard to meet the demands and challenges associated with the development of a new and growing school.
